The EKOBA E75 Service Club marked a significant milestone as members gathered at the Eko Boys High School campus to celebrate 50 years since their graduation. The event was a joyous reunion filled with nostalgia, camaraderie, and a commitment to giving back to their alma mater.
Under the leadership of Ekorian Adewale Tijani, the celebration brought together distinguished alumni, including retired AIG Tunji Caulcrik, Ekorian Sofela Solanke, Ekorian Engr. Jide Fashola, and many others. The service club chose to hold the event on the school premisesas a testament to their enduring connection with their roots and their continued dedication to the institution that shaped them.
A major highlight of the event was the unveiling of a miniature statue honoring the school’s founder, Rev. W.B. Euba, and builder, Mr. Obadiah Roberts. This act of remembrance serves as a lasting tribute to the visionary leaders who laid the foundation for generations of students to excel.
The atmosphere was filled with entertainment as the Nigerian Police Band delivered a captivating musical performance, setting a lively tone for the celebration. Meanwhile, various service clubs set up tables laden with refreshments, allowing attendees to indulge in an afternoon of merriment and shared memories.
In recognition of outstanding contributions, the EKOBA E75 Service Club also presented awards to select members who have demonstrated exceptional commitment to the club’s mission and values over the years.
