In a landmark initiative, EKOBA Service Club E81/82, has commenced the construction of a standard basketball court at Eko Boys’ High School (EBHS) Mushin. The project, which is inline with the master plan developed by EKOBA National, aims to boost the school’s sports infrastructure and provide students with a top-tier facility for athletic development.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony on Sunday, 28 July, 2024, Ekorian Johnson Folayan, President of E81/82, shared his enthusiasm and commitment: “We are dedicated to completing this basketball court by the set timeline.
“Our service club is fully committed to ensuring that the students of EBHS have access to top-notch sports facilities, which are essential for their overall development.”
EKOBA National President, Ekorian Kayode Elliot, also expressed his strong support for the initiative. “EKOBA fully backs this project and stands behind E81/82 in their efforts,.”
Elliot further urged other service clubs to follow the path of E81/82. “Let this be a call to action for other service clubs to emulate E81/82 and contribute to the development of our beloved EBHS,” he said.
The foundation laying was carried out by Ekorian Johnson Folayan, accompanied by Ekorian Kayode Elliot, and other executives and members of the E81/82 service club.
