EKOBA E84 & E85 Sets Celebrate 40th Anniversary in Grand Style

It was a moment of historic gathering as the EKOBA E84 & E85 sets celebrated their 40th anniversary of leaving the alma mater. The event, held at The Pavilion, National Orthopedic Hospital, Igbobi, Fadeyi, Lagos, was a momentous occasion filled with nostalgia, camaraderie, and insightful discussions.

The celebration was graced by distinguished personalities, including the EKOBA National President, Ekorian Kayode Elliot, and other executive members. Also in attendance was the President of the BODAS’70 Service Club, Ekorian Dr. Sulaimon Gbadegesin, who added prestige to the event.

The atmosphere was electric as elated members of the E84 & E85 sets, led by Ekorian Michael Agbato, mingled and reconnected, reminiscing about their days at Eko Boys High School and celebrating their achievements over the past four decades. The event was a testament to the enduring bond and unity among the Ekorians.

A highlight of the celebration was a thought-provoking lecture titled *”Retirement: Challenges and Prospects in Nigeria,”* delivered by Ekorian Friday Gabriel Imoluamen. The lecture addressed critical issues facing retirees in Nigeria, offering practical solutions and inspiring attendees to plan effectively for their golden years.

The anniversary celebration also served as a platform to honor the contributions of the E84 & E85 sets to their alma mater and society at large. The attendees expressed their gratitude to the school for shaping their lives and pledged continued support to its development.

As the event concluded, the Ekorians reaffirmed their commitment to upholding the values of excellence, integrity, and service instilled in them during their time at Eko Boys High School. The 40th anniversary celebration was not just a reunion but a celebration of legacy, friendship, and the enduring spirit of the EKOBA family.
