The Eko Boys’ High School Old Boys Association (EKOBA), on Thursday 26 October 2023 visited the newly sworn-in Lagos state commissioner for Basic and secondary education, Mr. Jamiu Alli-Balogun at the office in Alausa.
The EKOBA team was led by the National President, Ekorian Odofin Kayode Elliot, he was accompanied by the National General Secretary, Ekorian (Engr) Babatunde Osibodu, National PRO, Ekorian Temitope Oluwabiyi and Ekorian Sola Oyedele, who is the director of Budget, Ministry of Education.
In his remark, Ekorian Elliot reiterated the commitment of the old Boys of Eko Boys High School to supporting the Lagos state government in improving education in the state. He stated that EKOBA has expended over N150 million in various interventions in the school. He used the opportunity to invite the Commissioner to inspect the construction projects, which include a Hall, remodeled school gate, and the rehabilitation and conversion of the old dormitory building, all of which are billed for commissioning in January 2024.
The commissioner on his part, thanked EKOBA for the interventions, stating that the burden is huge for the government to carry alone.
